Half a cup of unsalted butter (equivalent to 1 stick) softened at room temperature.
2 large eggs, at room temperature.
3 ripe bananas, mashed.
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract.
2 cups all-purpose flour.
1 teaspoon of baking soda.
¾ teaspoon salt.
½ cup chopped walnuts.
For frosting:
½ cup unsalted butter softened.
3 cups of powdered sugar.
1 ½ teaspoons of vanilla extract.
3 tablespoons of milk.
