Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet and cook until they are soft and slightly caramelized, about 6-8 minutes. Remove them from the skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add the thinly sliced steak and cook until it is browned, about 2-3 minutes per side. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
4. Cut the slider buns or dinner rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected. Place the bottom half of the buns in a baking dish or on a baking sheet.
5. Layer the cooked steak evenly over the bottom half of the buns. Top with the sautéed onions and bell peppers. Place a slice of cheese on top of each slider.
My folks loved it so much. I’m definitely doubling the recipe next time!
