5th Step
Put vegetable oil in a large pan or pot and heat it over medium-high heat. About 2 inches of oil should be in the pan. Take one of the dough balls and gently flatten it into a disc. You can do this with your hands or a rolling pin. The thickness should be around one-quarter of an inch.
6th Step
Put the dough, which has been flattened, carefully into the heated oil. Fry it on one side until it is golden brown, then turn it over to finish cooking it on the other side. This takes roughly two to three minutes on each side, on average.
7th Step
Once the frybread is golden on both sides, use a slotted spoon to carefully take it out of the oil. Put it on a dish that has been lined with paper towels so that the excess oil may drain.
