PREPARATION:
For the crust:
1st Step
First, you need to set the oven temperature up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Prepare a 9-by-13-inch greased baking pan.
2nd Step
Combine the flour, sugar, and butter (that has been melted) in a medium-sized mixing basin. Combine until the point when a crumbly dough may be formed. Lightly grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish and press the dough into the bottom.
3rd Step
Put in an oven that has been prepared to 350 degrees and bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the edges are brown. Take it out of the oven and let it cool down.
To make the caramel filling:
1st Step
Put the butter in a pot and cook it until it melts. Mix in the salt, brown sugar, corn syrup, and brown rice. While stirring constantly, bring the mixture to a low boil.
