Basics for Thriving Peace Lilies:
Light & Shade: Though adaptable, regulating its light can prevent leaf drying and boost its growth. It blooms most profusely between May and October.
Annual Repotting: Refresh its environment by repotting each spring. For mature lilies, just replace the top 4 cm layer of soil. Also, consider adding some drainage material at the pot’s base to prevent waterlogging.
Watch its Leaves: If the peace lily starts to wilt, it’s time for a good watering. If neglected for too long, immerse the pot in a tray filled with water to rejuvenate it. Regularly remove dead leaves to maintain its health.
Keep the Foliage Moist: A dry peace lily might attract pests. Regularly mist it and remove dust to maintain humidity.
Watering Schedule: In the summer, water it daily, while in winter, once a week is sufficient. For flourishing blooms and enhanced immunity, mix gelatin in its watering routine.
