Mix the pudding powder in a little milk. Heat the rest of the milk. When it boils, add the mixed pudding powder and the peanut butter (can be left out) and bring to the boil to form a thick pudding.
Beat the cream until stiff and fold into the pudding. Cut bananas into slices.
Line a small baking tin with shortbread cookies, spread the pudding cream on top, cover with banana slices and layer alternately with caramel sauce, add another layer of shortbread cookies on top, spread the remaining cream on top, place banana slices on top and lastly add butter cookies (or caramel sauce). place on top.
Chill and then serve. Sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts.
