For the crumble topping:
– 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
– 1/2 cup granulated sugar
– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
– 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
For the glaze:
– 1 cup powdered sugar
– 2 tablespoons orange juice
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract and orange zest.
4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the orange juice and milk. Begin and end with the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it evenly.
