Mode of preparation⠀
In an electric mixer, beat the eggs, butter and sugar until pale and fluffy. Add the flour and milk interspersed, beating to mix. Add the baking soda and mix delicately with a spoon.
Pour the dough into a greased and floured 25cm x 35cm mold and place in a preheated medium oven for 30 minutes or until golden and lightly browned. Remove from the oven, let it cool, unmold and cut in half lengthwise.
Mix the filling ingredients and fill the cake. Sprinkle the cake with the mixed frosting ingredients, cut into pieces and serve immediately.
