Ingredients:
1 cup fresh blackberries (plus extra for garnish)
2 Tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
4 oz reposado tequila (for its smooth woody notes)
2 oz Cointreau or triple sec
Juice of two limes
Crushed ice (to preference)
Lime wheels (for garnish)
Handful of fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
Coarse salt or sugar for rimming (optional)
Instructions:
In a cocktail shaker, muddle blackberries with sugar until the sugar starts dissolving.
Add lime juice, orange liqueur, and tequila to the shaker. Introduce crushed ice.
