As the wedding day approached, excitement and nerves intertwined for Jake and his future wife, Lily. The anticipation of a lifetime together and the joy of celebrating their love with friends and family were building up.
However, little did Jake know that a sinister plan was set in motion by Lily’s best friend and bridesmaid, Megan. Megan, consumed by jealousy, couldn’t bear the happiness radiating from Lily and Jake. She had secretly harbored feelings for Jake and was unable to cope with the reality of their impending marriage. Fueled by envy and a desire to sabotage their union, Megan concocted a plan to cast a shadow over their special day.
A week before the wedding, Megan intentionally sent Jake a picture of Lily in her wedding dress, hoping to plant seeds of doubt and superstition. The message was clear – bad luck would befall the couple if they proceeded with the marriage. Shocked and disturbed by the unexpected image, Jake’s mind raced with uncertainty.

Unable to shake off the feeling of impending doom, Jake made a heart-wrenching decision to cancel the wedding, fearing the potential consequences of going against the superstition Megan had planted. Lily, bewildered and heartbroken, couldn’t comprehend why Jake would call off their wedding so suddenly. Months passed, and the relationship between Lily, Jake, and Megan crumbled. The once inseparable trio became estranged, with Lily and Jake rebuilding their lives apart from Megan’s toxic influence.
They decided to postpone the wedding indefinitely, taking time to heal from the emotional turmoil caused by the abrupt cancellation. A year later, Lily and Jake found themselves stronger and more committed than ever. They decided to give love another chance, opting for a more intimate ceremony without the burdens of superstitions and manipulative friends. Megan was no longer a part of their lives, as they chose to surround themselves with those who genuinely supported their happiness.
