In September 2016, Chabert welcomed her first child, Julia Mimi Bella. Anticipating her daughter’s arrival, Chabert entered full nesting mode, preparing the nursery and discussing the upcoming changes with her Chihuahua, Kitty. Motherhood likely shifted her priorities, as she balanced life as a working mom and her new professional path, evidenced by her 16th Hallmark film by late 2018.
