Despite the challenges of raising a large family, Landon cherished fatherhood and was deeply involved in his children’s lives. His daughter Jennifer shared that he was a curious and nurturing father who loved teaching his kids. However, tragedy struck in 1991 when Landon was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and passed away at the age of 54.
