Citric acid
A natural ingredient that you have available in your kitchen is citric acid, that is, lemon juice. A low acidic substance, it has the power to remove limescale without ruining the ceramic, returning it to its natural splendor. You can use citric acid alone or combined with other products. This is what they are:
- Citric acid and dishwashing liquid – Mix a glass of citric acid with 10 ml of dishwashing liquid. Shake the solution well and use it to clean the toilet as you would any other product. The descaling effect of citric acid will remove lime from the bottom.
- Citric acid and borax – Mix one cup of citric acid with two cups of borax. Apply the mixture to the walls of the toilet, let it sit for 15 minutes and then rinse. The toilet will be free of yellow stains.
Hydrogen peroxide
Another exceptional remedy for whitening the toilet is hydrogen peroxide . Surely you also have a bottle of this product at home, which you can use to remove yellow stains from the toilet.
