First, using a bowl, combine the gelatine powder with water and heat in the microwave for about 15 seconds, until completely dissolved. Set aside.
Now, in a blender, mix the condensed milk, cream, milk and chocolate powder until you have a uniform mixture.
Then add the dissolved gelatine and blend again. Now, in an ovenproof dish, assemble a layer of cornstarch cookies, lightly moistened with milk.
Then spread half of the chocolate mixture on top. Now make another layer of cookies and cover with the rest of the cream.
Finally, decorate with chopped strawberries and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until firm.
It’s ready, now serve it cold or at room temperature.
I love to make large quantities of this and use it all summer long.
