Instructions:
Prepare the Creamy Filling:
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
In a separate chilled bowl, beat heavy cream until soft peaks form.
Gently fold whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
Stir in vanilla extract.
Assemble the Trifle:
In a trifle bowl or large glass bowl, start with a layer of crumbled cake or cookies (or graham cracker crumbs).
Layer sliced strawberries over the crumbled layer.
Add a layer of creamy filling.
Repeat layers, ending with a layer of creamy filling on top.
Arrange whole or sliced strawberries on top for garnish.
Chill:
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the layers to set.
Serve:
Serve chilled and enjoy!
