For the Wings:
12-16 chicken wings (drumettes and flats)
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
For the Sauce:
1/2 cup (120g) unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup (120ml) hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot or your favorite brand)
2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
