Directions
Prepare the Chicken:
Rinse the chicken breasts under cool water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
Place the chicken on a clean cutting board and trim off any excess fat.
Season the Chicken:
In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken pieces.
Cook the Chicken:
Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Once hot, add the seasoned chicken. Cook for 6-7 minutes on one side without moving, to develop a golden crust.
Flip the chicken and cook for another 6-7 minutes until fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F or 74°C).
Squeeze the lemon juice over the chicken during the last minute of cooking for a burst of freshness.
