Easy French Silk Pie with Oreo (Page 2 ) | March 22, 2025
Annonce:
1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Make the Oreo Crust:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Place the Oreos in a food processor and pulse until they are finely crushed into crumbs.
Combine the Oreo crumbs with the melted butter in a bowl and mix until well combined.
Press the crumb mixture into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie pan to form an even crust.
Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes, then remove it from the oven and let it cool completely.
2. Prepare the French Silk Filling:
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth. Let the melted chocolate cool slightly.
In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and powdered sugar together until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
Add the vanilla extract and beat until combined.
Add the cooled melted chocolate to the butter mixture and continue to beat until smooth and fully incorporated.
Carefully add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. To ensure the eggs are safe, you can place them in a bowl of hot tap water for a few minutes to warm them up before adding them to the mixture.
Beat the mixture for an additional 5-7 minutes, until it becomes light and fluffy.
3. Assemble the Pie:
