PREPARATION:
1st Step
Fill a large pot with enough water to cover the ears of corn completely and set it over high heat. Bring the water to a boil, then sprinkle a little bit of salt into it.
2nd Step
After adding them carefully, let the corn ears simmer for approximately 5-7 minutes, or until they have reached the desired level of tenderness. After that, take the corn out of the water and let it finish draining.
3rd Step
Mix the melted butter, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, and a bit of salt together in a bowl before adding the rest of the spices. You may control the amount of heat in the dish by adjusting the spice. Be sure that the butter has been properly infused with each of the spices before continuing.
4th Step
If you want the corn to have a smokey taste and a charred look, you may grill it after it has been boiled on a hot grill or griddle on top of the stove. This step is not required, but adding it will give the dish an additional dimension of taste.
