2 lbs. ground beef
– 2 large potatoes, peeled and diced
– 1 onion, diced
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
– 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
– 1 teaspoon dried thyme
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– 2 packages puff pastry
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, potatoes, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
3. Cut each puff pastry sheet into 4 equal pieces.
4. Place about 1/4 cup of the beef mixture onto the center of each pastry piece.
5. Fold the pastry over the beef mixture and press the edges together to seal.
6. Place the pasties onto a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
7. Serve warm and enjoy!
As soon as I saw this recipe, I had this gut feeling it would be great. And man, was I spot on! So tasty!
