– 1 lb mussels, cleaned and debearded
– 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 3 cups chicken or seafood broth
Produce:
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 green bell pepper, diced
– 1 lemon, cut into wedges (for garnish and juice)
– 1 medium onion, diced
– 1 bunch fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
– 1 cup frozen peas
– 1 red bell pepper, diced
Pasta & Grains:
– 1 cup Arborio rice (or traditional paella rice)
Baking & Spices:
– 1 tsp smoked paprika
– 1/4 tsp saffron threads
– Salt and pepper, to taste
Oils & Vinegars:
– 1/4 cup olive oil
Beer, Wine & Spirits:
– 1 cup white wine (preferably dry)
