Instructions:
Cake Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8×8 inch baking pan. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
Cream Butter and Sugar:
Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:
Alternate adding flour mixture and milk to butter mixture. Stir until just combined.
Baking the Cake:
Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool slightly.
Prepare Three Milk Mixture:
Whisk together sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and whole milk.
Soak the Cake:
While warm, poke holes in cake and gradually pour milk mixture over it. Let soak.
Add the Topping:
Once cooled, spread whipped cream over the top. Garnish with fresh fruits if desired.
