An unthinkable ingredient is one that will make the glass shine more than ever: we use it every day.
Very often it happens to go over and over again on the glass and mirrors, but there are always halos that persist. Despite the best products, sometimes lint remains from the cloth or paper used to clean. So how can you have perfectly clean, streak-free windows and mirrors? The trick lies in an unthinkable ingredient.
Window and mirror cleaning: the product to use
There are those who delight in water and vinegar, those who prefer the most diverse products on the market. Everyone is trying to find the best way to clean windows and mirrors while avoiding streaks and stains. You won’t believe it, yet one of the best window cleaning products is something that very often ends up unintentionally dirtying the bathroom mirror.
We’re talking about shaving foam, a product with an apparently very greasy consistency that we would never think of applying to the mirror or the windows. But how is it possible that it is a very good cleaning product?
How to use shaving cream to prevent windows from fogging up
The use of shaving foam as an anti-fog is more than simple and is given by the properties of its ingredients. All you need is to have two dry rags on hand (they can be fabric or paper). The first thing to do is to distribute a small amount of shaving foam onto the cloth and then spread it over the surface to be treated. Being a very dense product, large quantities are not necessary, so be very careful to use little product to avoid the opposite effect.
You can then add more if necessary. After about 30 seconds you can simply remove it using the second dry cloth, without using water or detergents. In addition to being a product with excellent degreasing properties, when used on bathroom mirrors and glass, shaving foam prevents them from fogging up with heat and humidity.
