Over medium-high heat, bring the mixture to a boil while periodically stirring. After it boils, turn the heat down to low and let it simmer for around 5 minutes so that the sauce may somewhat thicken. Take the dumplings out of the oven after they have finished baking. While the dumplings are still warm, evenly distribute the spicy sauce over them.
